Nicholas Mosley (1923-2017), was the author of thirteen novels, including ACCIDENT, IMPOSSIBLE OBJECT, HOPEFUL MONSTERS (which won the Whitbread Book of the Year Award in 1991), THE HESPERIDES TREE, two biographies, a travel book, a book about religion and most recently the novel INVENTING GOD.
