Karishma Patel

Karishma Patel is a former BBC journalist, specialising in the Middle East and South Asia, and a news presenter seen on the BBC News Channel, BBC Two and BBC Radio 5 Live. She has an MPhil in English Literature from the University of Cambridge and is published in Cultures of London: Legacies of Migration (Bloomsbury, 2024). She was shortlisted for the #Merky Books New Writers’ Prize in 2022.
