The Wimpy Kid meets Pippi Longstocking in this wonderful and incredible adventure of an unconventional little girl with a passion for investigations.
Lila has a passion for classic detective series and a deep love for pets, inherited from her grandmother’s tapes collection and her father’s veterinarian practice. On her eighth birthday, she receives the best possible present she could ever get: a tender, but fierce, white bunny named Kurtz. It’s love at first sight between the two, but trouble arrives in the form of terrible Loretta Stern and the strict tutors dressed in grey that accompany her. Their rigid teaching methods and their mission to institutionalise all disobeying children not only endangers the imagination and freedom of the children of Mistybrook, but also of Kurtz himself.
When the bunny suddenly disappears, it will be Lila’s job to find him using her detective skills, aided only by her intuition, her eccentric and computer savvy grandmother, and her schoolmate Teo.
