Isabelle graduated from Cornell Law School (USA) and has worked for 15 years in the legal world before becoming a full-time author. She speaks four languages fluently but for a reason that defies her understanding, English is her preferred language for prose. Isabelle lives in Luxembourg.

Her picture books, published by Templar (an imprint of Bonnier Books) and Enchanted Lion Books, have been translated into many languages. His latest, Henri and the Machine, has been nominated for the Klaus Flugge Prize 2024. Isabelle also wrote a non-fiction picture book for Oxford University Press, Rosetta and Philae, which will be published in August 2024. Her debut middle-grade Boy Undeground was published by Sweet Cherry Publishing in 2022, it was book of the month at Stanford travel shop upon publication, it was shortlisted for the Edward Stanford Award 2024, and is under option for a Film/TV adaptation; its sequel, Boy Overboard, was published in 2025.
