Rupert is diplomat, writer, and speaker.

Currently representing the Canadian province of British Columbia in Europe, he has previously served as British Consul General in Vancouver, Deputy Ambassador in Bahrain, Political Officer in Sweden, and Vice-Consul in Jordan, and been seconded to Cabinet Office and the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS).

Now working in London, while living (and writing) in the Cotswolds, he has an MA in Creative Writing from UEA, had fiction short and longlisted in competitions, a short drama aired on Radio 5 Live, and written articles for Huffington Post. He’s delivered speeches, spoken on conference panels, and been interviewed on radio and TV.
