Rachel Louise Driscoll is a Curtis Brown Creative alumna; she was awarded a scholarship for the 3-month Novel Writing Course 2020. One of her manuscripts was longlisted for the Bath Novel Award 2022. Her interests have always been in writing and history, so she is delighted to be able to pursue both passions as a novelist.
Rachel’s debut novel NEPHTHYS was published by Harvill, an imprint of Vintage, PRH, in February 2025 and was shortlisted for the HWA Debut Crown that same year. Her sophomore novel, THE SPIDER AND THE LILY, weaves Gothic Victoriana, real-life mysteries, & Arthuriana with the language of flowers and is due to be published March 2027.
