Pamela Ueckerman is a children’s author, poet, and book reviewer who grew up in England immersed in music and dance, books and poetry. Her writing has appeared in anthologies and magazines including The School Magazine and The Dirigible Balloon, and in the Oxford University Press poetry text The Great Untamed: Poems to Share. As co-host of the podcast Middle Grade Mavens, Pamela has interviewed some of the UK and Australia’s most successful authors, and she was a long-time reviewer for the Children’s Book Council of Australia. Pamela’s debut picture book, Ayla’s Christmas Wish was published in 2023. She lives in Melbourne with her family and her beloved books and old ballet shoes.
