Monica Balt is an alumna of The Novelry. Born in Guyana and educated in the UK and the USA, she has lived most of her adult life in Sweden, where she raised her son and held several careers (though not all at the same time): teacher, translator, business researcher, and corporate sustainability advisor. Monica is currently based in The Netherlands with her Dutch husband. An avid reader and hopeful writer since childhood, one of her early manuscripts was highly commended in the Yeovil Literary Prize 2019. She is working on a historical novel.
