Jacob Rees-Mogg is a member of the Conservative party and was the MP for the constituency of North East Somerset from 2010 to 2024.
Jacob sat on the Brexit Select Committee and the European Scrutiny Committee.
After Eton, Jacob read History at Trinity College Oxford, before moving into finance. He co-founded Somerset Capital Management, which specialises in investment management for pension funds and charitable organisations.
Jacob’s book The Victorians was published by WH Allen/Ebury (Penguin Random House) in May 2019.
