Ian Peach is a picture book author from Northern Ireland who currently lives in South Wales.
He studied Theatre at the University of Ulster, worked for the Belfast Telegraph newspaper and then completed a Postgraduate Degree in Primary Education in Swansea, Wales. Ian developed a passion for children’s literature through his early years teaching and he draws inspiration from the children in his class and his young son at home.
Ian is a member of the Golden Egg Academy and he was Runner-up for the Golden Egg Academy Award for Picture Books in 2025. His debut picture book will be published in 2027.
