Amy de la Force is a bi writer of speculative fiction. She is the debut author of A KISS OF HAMMER AND FLAME, Book 1 of the Fated for Hael romantasy trilogy, which was published as a lead title for Canelo (DK, Penguin Random House) on 3 July 2025. The sequel, A CROWN OF BLOOD AND MAGICK, is expected to publish September 2026.
In 2024, Amy was shortlisted for the Lucy Cavendish Fiction Prize and longlisted for the Mslexia Novel Competition, after completing Curtis Brown Creative’s novel-writing programme in 2020. A degree graduate, she majored in journalism and minored in creative writing, switching to marketing when she was hired by Apple. Most recently, she worked as Executive Creative Director for a London digital marketing agency.
