We are thrilled to announce that THE OTHELLO CLUB by J. D. Pennington is being adapted for TV.
Paramount+ UK and Ireland has commissioned the show (currently entitled THE REVENGE CLUB), and the show will be co-produced by Paramount+ and Gaumont. Fremantle will also produce. The series is created by Gabbie Asher (THE TATTOOIST OF AUSCHWITZ), who will executive produce alongside J. D. Pennington. Tim Kirkby (FLEABAG) will serve as lead director.
The show stars Aimée-Ffion Edwards (SLOW HORSES) alongside Martin Compston (LINE OF DUTY) in the lead roles of Emily and Calum.
Filming is currently underway in the UK. The rights deal was done by our agent Rosie Gurtovoy.
