Sia Krishna is the writer, recipe developer, food stylist and photographer behind the popular food blog ‘Monsoon Spice’ that has welcomed over 15 million readers from all over the world. Born in a small South Indian town called Puttur, Sia grew up on the principles of a Sattvic or Yogic diet. Though ‘organic’, ‘five-a-day’ and ‘sustainable’ are the buzz words of today, this has always been her grandmother’s and mother’s approach to food and cooking. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering and a master’s degree in business management, but her true passion is literature, photography, cooking, and writing about the food she cooks. Sia moved to the UK 14 years ago and currently lives in picturesque Yorkshire with her husband Krish and her 8-year-old son Paarth.
