Rowan Foxwood is a children’s fantasy writer, who specialises in middle-grade and YA. English-Mediterranean by birth, Rowan has lived in various places across the globe, from East-Asia to the UAE. Her writing has been shaped by a life-long fascination with myths and folklore, and she can be easily entrapped into a conversation by the mere mention of faeries (the more gruesome, the better). Rowan finds it hard to stay still, and when she isn’t globe-trotting, divides her time between the leafy den of a dragon forest in Sussex, a small golden hamlet nestled in the wine region of Burgundy, and the flintstone walls of Winchester city where she lectures at the University.
