Dr Olesya Khromeychuk is a historian and writer. She is originally from Ukraine but has lived in London most of her life. She has taught the history of East-Central Europe at Cambridge, UCL, UEA and King’s College London and is currently the Director of the Ukrainian Institute London. She has written for the New York Review of Books, Der Spiegel, the Los Angeles Review of Books, openDemocracy and Metro. Her memoir The Story of a Dead Soldier Told by His Sister will be published by Octopus in September 2022.
