Author

Following a career in the media, including a decade at the BBC, Jo Wozencroft now writes speculative romantic fiction and owns and runs an independent bookstore. She has a first-class degree and English and Linguistics from the University of York, and has also written stories for BBC School Radio and a screenplay for a short film that won Best World Fiction at the DIY Film Festival.

Having forsaken the sunny climes of Singapore for her forever home in Urmston, Manchester, she’s spent her entire adult life as an immigrant and is particularly fascinated by stories that blur the boundaries of nation and state. When she isn’t reading or writing, you’ll find her whipping up self-declared culinary delicacies or smothering her children, husband and rabbit with affection.
