Emma Marriott is an author and editor. With a degree in modern history from the University of Warwick, Emma began her publishing career working as an in-house editor for Pan Macmillan. There she oversaw a variety of non-fiction books ranging from popular history and biography to entertainment, lifestyle and film books.
She has since gone on to write over fifteen non-fiction books for major publishers, many of them popular history and entertainment titles.She also ghostwrites for major names. This year she has been working with the Red Arrows (Century) and on a Downton Abbey film companion (Weldon Owen), both due to be published in Spring 2022.
Born in Uganda, Emma grew up in central London and now lives in Bedfordshire with her husband and three children. Alongside her work, she also helps out at various local music and literary events.
