Dr Fay Bound Alberti is Professor of Modern History at King’s College London and a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society. Fay is a specialist in the histories of the body, medicine, emotion, and gender. She appears regularly on BBC and international television and radio, and has written for The Guardian, TIME magazine, The New Yorker, The New York Times and many more. She is a TED speaker and a consultant on loneliness and mental health.

The Social Lives of Faces (Allen Lane/PRH) will be her first major book for the trade.
