Dan Jennings

Dan Jennings is a journalist, multi-award-winning content creator, broadcaster, and lifelong music fan with a career that spans the BBC, commercial radio, branded content, and podcasting. From hosting breakfast shows in Bristol, Somerset and Crawley to delivering award-winning campaigns for global brands, he has always been drawn to the space where storytelling and culture collide.

Dan is the creator of the acclaimed Paul Weller Fan Podcast, Desperately Seeking Paul, which debuted in December 2020. Featuring 180 in-depth interviews, the series culminated in a two-hour conversation with Paul Weller himself and garnered a nomination for Best Music Podcast at the 2024 Independent Podcast Awards.

The podcast’s success led to Dan’s involvement in the official marketing of Weller’s seventeenth solo studio album, 66. This experience inspired his first book, Paul Weller: Dancing Through the Fire: The Authorised Oral History; the book is based on over 200 hours of Dan’s interviews, and explores Paul Weller’s extraordinary life and work through the voices of those who know him best.

Alongside his creative work, Dan leads project delivery for transformation initiatives at WPP Media.

He lives in Surrey with his wife, Kate, and their sons, Henry and Freddie.
