Damian Kerlin

Damian Kerlin is a journalist, broadcaster and content creator. As well as writing and managing his own blog, Damian has written for the likes of  Attitude, The Telegraph and The Independent. He is a regular columnist for Out News Global and a feature writer for The Belfast Telegraph where he writes on LGBTQ+ culture and current affairs.

Damian was selected as one of three Acast Amplifiers for his LGBTQ+ docu-series podcast ‘Memories From The Dancefloor’ which celebrates LGBTQ+ venues and shines a light on the history of these incredible spaces from the staff and patrons themselves. It was released in February 2023 for LGBTQ+ History Month to critical acclaim, featuring in The Sunday Times, the Financial Times and The Guardian.

He also featured as part of Sony’s Broccolli Productions award winning flagship podcast, Anthems Pride having written and recorded a script from an LGBTQ+ perspective inspired from the word FAMILY.

This year, Damian will host and produce Iris’s podcast, Europe’s largest LGBTQ+ Film Festival in collaboration with Channel 4 and Film 4. It is due for release during Pride season, June 2023.
