Chris Wooding cut his first publishing deal at nineteen and has been a professional writer ever since. To date he’s had twenty-seven novels published in over two dozen languages, for children and adults, and over a million copies of his books have been sold.
Outside of being a novelist, he also works as a writer and narrative consultant for videogames, and has written for numerous AAA titles, most prominently Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla and their upcoming title codenamed Hexe. He has also worked with Lightstorm and Disney on Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Star Wars Outlaws, among others.
Chris has written many commissioned scripts for film and TV, and has collaborated with Craig Pearce (Moulin Rouge, The Great Gatsby), Michael Radford (1984, Il Postino) and most recently contributed to the animated series Splinter Cell: Deathwatch.
