“THE INHERITANCE” TO TRANSFER TO BROADWAY

Jun 7, 2019

Matthew Lopez’s two-part drama “The Inheritance”, a play about gay men in New York a generation after the AIDS epidemic, will begin performance on Broadway this fall. The play, which is based on E.M. Forster‘s acclaimed novel Howard’s End, received rave five-star reviews in London, and was awarded an Olivier for best new play.

“The Inheritance” has been described by The Telegraph as “perhaps the most important American play of the century so far” and by The Evening Standard as “a bighearted tribute to the power of storytelling”. We are incredibly excited to see the play flourish in New York with its powerful commentary on identity, legacy, class, liberation, and community in the 21st century.
