We are delighted to announce that MURDER BEFORE EVENSONG by Reverend Richard Coles will be adapted in a co-production by Channel 5 and Acorn TV. Coles will serve as executive producer on the show, alongside writer Nick Hicks-Beach (MIDSOMER MURDERS), and Radford Neville, co-founder of the production studio The Lighthouse (SCOOP, 61ST STREET).
The show comes in the wake of Coles’ success both on TV and as a Sunday Times Bestseller.
MURDER BEFORE EVENSONG focuses on Canon Daniel Clement, who lives peacefully as the Rector of Chapton. That is until one day a cousin to the church’s patron is found stabbed in the neck, and people in the parish turn to Daniel for answers…
