Marie-Claire Chappet’s upcoming debut novel BROKEN TOYS has been named a “Book-to-Screen [Opportunity] to Look Out For” at the London Book Fair 2025 in an article posted to Deadline today.
The novel follows the friendship of two female characters as they navigate their first years at a university. Set in rural Scotland in the mid-2000s pre-recession era, the novel evokes Saltburn, Euphoria and Prep.
Marie-Claire Chappet is represented by Laurie Robertson for books, and Rosie Gurtovoy for Film and TV.
