Tony Hawks

Tony Hawks is a comedian and the author of seven books, including A Piano in the Pyrenees (2007), The Fridge-Hiker’s Guide to Life (2008), One Hit Wonderland (2003), Playing the Moldovans at Tennis (2007), and Round Ireland with a Fridge (1999), published by Ebury Press, Once Upon a Time in the West…Country, published by Hodder & Stoughton (2015), and Persistent Wind (2024) published by The History Press. In 2010, Round Ireland with a Fridge was adapted into a film, recounting Tony’s attempt to hitchhike around Ireland with a fridge in order to win a bar bet. Tony also acts, plays tennis, and makes music. He lives in London.
