Natalia Conroy is a cookery writer. Her first book, ‘The Kitchen Orchard’ was published by Ebury Press ~ Penguin Books in 2014.
Natalia studied Russian and German Literature at St. John’s College, Oxford, but gave up her studies to train as a chef at The River Café under Ruth Rogers, where she met and married fellow chef Jonathan.
For the past 2 years Natalia and Jonathan have been exploring plant-based cookery and their next book is ‘What on Earth to Eat Now’, featuring 100 plant-based recipes that can be easily sourced and made at home, which is also a memoir of a life changing year; aged 31 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is now in recovery.
Natalia and Jonathan live in rural Somerset with their dog Basil, and spend most of the time in the vegetable patch of their garden.
