Our September book pick is THE WAY BLOOD TRAVELS by Oliver Slate-Greene, pubs. by PRAVUM (@jenniobidike)

As some of you already know, I co-founded a small #publishing house called PRAVUM with a couple of friends in 2020. We're thrilled to announce our second title, an exquisite #lgbtq #novella by debut #author Oliver Slate-Greene😍 More info here:

Can anyone recommend a good freelance copy-editor?

The second round of my ‘Write with Me’ sessions are coming up, and I’m introducing a new early morning or evening slot. The sessions include an intention setting ritual, a poetry reading and warm up exercise, and 40 minutes of writing time. Drop me a line for more information!

What does it take to be a freelance editor? @GuerillaMemoir says, “Purely nurturing feedback is unhelpful. Straight criticism is discouraging. An editor must identify what’s wrong, clarify why it must be fixed, and excite the author to do the work.”

Write With Me is an opportunity to sit down and write twice a week. Think about it as carving space in your busy week to receive inspiration. I hope you will join me! More information at

Whether you know me from my work as a ghostwriter, structural editor, writing coach or poet, I want to invite you to my new workshop! More info here and I look forward to writing with you:

“Our alliance in taste, combined with our unique personalities (think TLC's crazy, sexy, cool) sort of propelled us to try and come together to try something new.” On the new publishing house I started with my friends 💜

Morning reading. I love this book so much. #amreading #MondayMotivation

“It might feel like a cliché or might be saccharine to say that a truly great piece of writing can have the power to leave you feeling changed by the experience of reading it ...” ⁦@KishWidyaratna⁩ on the process of editing!

I need this superpower

We are reopening our #submissions tomorrow (eeeek!) so I thought I’d go through what I’m looking for this year in a hopefully helpful thread. #MSWL

I am alone here in my own mind.
There is no map
and there is no road.
It is one of a kind
just as yours is.

May you live in boring times. Like, the dullest times ever. May you drink cups of tea watching clouds of ambient sheep float across pastoral landscapes awash with pale sunlight. The pears in the orchard are slowly ripening. You haven't watched the news in seven years.

Author Dallie Ago explores what it means as a writer to spend time on a project you're really passionate about and how writers can hook an audience by being honest in their work. #WDAuthorSpotlights
