Jackie Weaver is the Chief Officer of the Cheshire Association of Local Councils, and shot to fame in 2021 after a viral video emerged of her dealing with argumentative male councillors at a Handforth Parish Council Zoom meeting. The video has been viewed millions of times, and has not only spawned merchandise, countless spoofs and songs, but has established Jackie as an icon worldwide. Her book, ‘You Do Have The Authority Here’, was published by Little, Brown in 2021. Jackie recently launched chart-topping podcast, Jackie Weaver Has the Authority, in which she has hosted a wide range of guests including Jack Whitehall, Anton du Beke and Jeremy Vine.
