Cate Ray writes gripping page-turners, shining a light on the issues affecting women today. The author of four novels published as Cath Weeks, she was longlisted for the Waverton Good Reads award and was named an ‘Author to Watch’ by ELLE. Her Frome Literary Festival award-winning short story was produced and broadcast on the BBC.
Cate started writing as a child, and as a teenager won a national writing competition. Born and raised in Somerset, UK, after studying for a degree in English, Cate moved to London and Paris before returning to Bath where she currently lives with her family.
GOOD HUSBANDS was Cate’s debut in the US. A compelling thriller about consent, friendship and prejudice, it received great acclaim including Apple Best Book, and Barnes & Noble Booksellers’ Favourite.
