Brendan Cooper

Brendan Cooper grew up in London’s East End on a diet of television, books, cricket, and snooker – and writes, primarily, on literature and sport. His most recent book, Deep Pockets: Snooker and the Meaning of Life, was published by Constable in April 2023. He is presently working on a book about cricket and the English imagination, to be published by Constable in 2024.

He lives in Berkshire with his wife, two daughters, and a dog named Shakespeare.
