ALBA ARIKHA LONGLISTED FOR THE 2020 WINGATE PRIZE

Dec 5, 2019

Alba Arikha’s novel Where To Find Me has been longlisted for the 2020 Wingate Prize.

Now in its 43rd year, the annual prize is awarded to the best fiction or non-fiction book to translate the idea of Jewishness to the general reader.

This year’s judging panel comprises critically acclaimed novelist and lecturer Dr Roopa Farooki, educator, writer and broadcaster Clive Lawton OBE, past Wingate Prize winner Philippe Sands QC and award-winning novelist Kim Sherwood.

Arikha joins a longlist where themes of identity, loss, love, and last chances are prominent.
